the problem is finding a good output transformer that can handle like 5kv of peak insulation
(anode is around 2kv so normal voltage it must withstand is 4kv in pushpull)
its gonna be a big one that i know for sure
my tube is bigger the your'es :green: just kidding
if you light it up you need 10V @ 5A per tube
thats like 50w of heater power
for a stereo pushpull it would be like 200w only for the heaters....
i wonder wat a PPP would do for bass guitar.....around 600w's thats gonna hurt...
and now back to real i don't have mony for such transformers so.....but indeed the 6as7 isn't that beefy but i think it can sound good.
ow yeah the plate dissipation of the big one is 65w but it depends a little beceause it is so robust it can easely handle peaks. for icas they sometimes specify 100w of plate dissipation....
