This is probably totally useless, but to quickly revert back to the original idea: have you considered using two separate, floating B+ lines (with, in short, B+1 to anode V1 and B-1 to cathode V2; and B+2 to anode V2 and B-2 to cathode V1; CT grounded), to make a real Circlotron?
It was the first thing that came to my mind. I thought that that was the only way to get some power out of a cathode push-pull stage (but I am very new to, well, everything audio).
