DIY 2 Buss EQ recommendations. Help!

Dear diyers,
I've been reading the forum for a while, but I'm new posting.
I builded my first units this week. Two Capi VP-28's with 100% success.
My next moves will be:
- 1176 FET compressor from Hairball Audio
- ezP-1A from AML

When I finish these two builds, I'll need a stereo or 2 channel multiband EQ. The sontec will be a dream, but I think is too difficult and I cannot find complete information about the build, but aside that, I want something a little bit easier but still a great EQ.
I think stepped controls will be a good add.

Can you recommend me a project? I've been looking around and it was hard to find something.

Take a look at the Studer 169 EQ

Nite eq 3d. Cheap, great sounding, easy to source parts ... But you have to etch your own boards , no pcbs around these days. I think the 1176 is a pretty challenging first/early build. Easy enough to populate the mnats boards but a lot of wiring if you haven't done anything like that before
