Back from the dead with a quite esoteric question, does anybody here know where i could get hold of a couple of K145IK15 (also named КР1012ИК2) ICs?

They are old Russian/soviet Octave Dividers and i have 2 dead in a Repair Project. They seem to be available in Russia but i thought that i would check if anybody here have heard of or even want to sell me some before i start the hassle of trying to find someone in russia who will sell me them .

Im guessing this will be one of the "silent bump threads"

What a return!

Hi synthiaks,

i found an online shops who sells these online:
beechip.ru: http://www.beechip.ru/katalog/K145IK15.html (25cent / piece)

(escor.ru: https://escor.ru/catalog/otechestvennye_1/k145ik15 but currently out of stock)

Not sure if they ship to germany though!
Hope this helps

Hello!

Thank's ! i will look at it. I have found a couple of places in Russia that seem to have them but all of them don't answer email or doesn't  ship to Germany. So i was taking a long shot and hoping someone here might have 2 of them.

They are apparently the same as the ones named ( КР1012ИК2 ) BTW..

sigh...

:(

And nobody in Russia want to touch me with a 10 foot pole. There isn't coincidentally somebody here who need some obscure Soviet parts that we can order together from the only one i have had manage to squees a reply from?

He wants a 350$ minimum order and im not sure i ever will see what i order... But hey thats exciting, isn't it?

you could ask "ungifted" (the guy running diy-tubes.com).
He lives in russia, maybe he could order it and send it further to you ?

Thanks Weiss for the tip!

I might just have had a Breakthrough though. But if not "Ungifted" will be added to my potential Desperation contact list :)

I will post if i get hold of some ICs as i have a feeling this will be one of those "I found your post from way back then and do you still have som chips i can buy" Thread

Most of my threads tend to become a conversation between me and myself so why not continue within this tradition!

I think I have got hold of The ICs I need. The Russian connections were impossible but i manage to hunt down a company in Lithuania that had 24 pieces of the Related K145IK14 Octave devider. It's not the same pinout and a bit different in the functions but I think it will be close enough.

I'm just praying that I recieve what I have ordered, or recieve anything at all.

I was thinking of Doing it With a PIC and som good old ASM but it would be a bit of extra work (Like start up mplab for the first time in 3 years...)  that i thought  i could spare me if someone had the chips i need.

Now i found some similar ones in Lithuania (Where the original  IC factory also was located) And Im confident that they will do the trick.

I might post a bit more details about this project in a bit, as it is quite a funny pice of gear.

move to the US, you can buy tons of Russian stuff over here,  :D

Hehe... Well the market for used Measuring Equipment also would be a reson to move overseas, Without going in to Politics there are a couple of reasons i would rather stay here. Im also sceptical that they would let me in nowadays :)

Anyhow i just got my Shipment from Lithuania and put together a small "Repin" circuit. It seem to work just fine. So this thread is closed!

.....
PIC ?  programming ? work ?

I was talking about good old CD4020, CD4040, CD4060 (maybe with adapter-pcb if necessary).

This is an old divide down synthesizer with 12 cards in it each with an octave divider IC on them. The divider has 10 different outputs.

I'm actually more familiar with how I would realise this in code on a small PCB that could be put in a socket on the original ICslot than with CMOS so that is why I would choose that path if I had to. Also (I might be wrong but think not) the extra CMOS PCB would take up much more of the nonexistent space in my machine.

Now this will stay theory as I have some ICs that work.

Hello Again!

I just thought that i might give some closing info about this Thread as i suspect that it will be something that people will contact me about from time to time from now to eternity!

After a lot of research and such i now have a couple of ICs that work. I have some extra in stock if someone are desperate.

I have the K145IK14(Octave divider) it has a different pinout as the КR1012IК2 / K145IK15  but can be used and have almost the same functions. In the Synth that Im doing repairs on i can't notice any big difference in sound.

Also i now managed to find some КR1012IК1 this is, as far as i understand, the same IC as the K145IK14.

I also have a couple of KR1012GP1 (Frequency generator)

I also got hold of some 159HT1B (DIP8 Dual NPNs) that are heavily used in VCA circuits in  the Soviet Audio Equipment .

If anybody have questions at some point about Repairs of Soviet Synths or audio Equipment i might be of help.. Just PM

Over and out!

"I also have a couple of KR1012GP1 (Frequency generator)"

hi. sorry to revive what looks like a dead thread.

I was wondering if this is the same as a КР1012ГП

if so, would you have a datasheet?
