I am looking for some dual 1K log pots for a NY Dave inspired passive mixer project. I only need three, maybe four.

Bourns make several types but they all attract the £15.95 shipping surcharge at Farnell and if I buy them from Mouser they charge £12 shipping too.

Farnell do some ceramic ones but they are more than £20 each - no thank you.

I cannot seem to find a UK/European source for these.

I tried eBay - plenty of dual LIN 1K but no LOG

Any ideas?

Cheers

Ian

Tapering resistor on dual 10KB wont work?

(AliExpress, maybe. But most often only Lin.)

It will be interesting to see how the interchannel balance holds up at lower settings of the controls ,

As far as I can tell many of the modern cheap pots like the Alpha only use two sections of conductive material to approximate the log curve , better made pots use more , which gets it closer to the ideal ,costs of manufacture seem to go exponential too .

Reichelt do an Omeg 1k log stereo ,
