Hi all,
Just thought I'd share some pics of the evolution of the early Neve module metalwork practices.
Here is an early pre/EQ module - the 1060.

Front panel.... SOLID BRASS !!!
Old type lids showing peined rails
Note the pressed rivets for holding side panel on
Old type front panel mounts, before using tapped / hank bush bridge lances
Lid / sides detail
Then soon later, the metalworking shop must have had an epiphany...
and a product that was far cheaper to produce on a large scale.
single piece, with front and top bridge lances. A classic design which does exactly what it needs to do.
