Anyone notice Edcor is carrying lams, wire AND bobbins now? Bobbins come in either EI50 or EI63, PCB or chassis mount.

Now, if only I had more TIME.

Yes but there is no chassis mounting bracket available, not essential for ungapped cores but needed for gapped.
 
Apply tape of correct thickness to create needed gap, put assembled transformer in clamps, apply varnish or epoxy.

There's always a way to make it happen.

The same here. I bought a couple of cheap 230/12V transformers the other day in different shapes and sizes. Nice split core bobbins and all. Good for experimenting.

Althou a bit on the small end, these show decent results for a V72 input. Sec L=450 H with 8000 turns. And reasonably priced:
