Just saw at the Eisen Audio page an output Tranformer option for a preamp Api style :
Edcor XSM600/600-LD (what means the LD? didnt find it)
They are only about 12 $ - anyone used them?

I have 4 of them I am using for Baby Animal outputs. Buy them. They are cheap and sound good. They don't sound "big" per se, like a Carnhill/Neve type, but they are less murky sounding than my Tamura (Yamaha) transformer. They have their own sound.

My 2 cents,
Adam

I believe LD means leaded, rather than solder terminals. This way it is low-profile enough to fit in 1.5". I received a prototype when they introduced this model and found it to be unsatisfactory for most applications. They may have improved the product since then, and your mileage may vary.
