Making progress. I'm still awaiting shipment of 220uf/35v caps (should ship oct 6) but there are only 3 per channel so I've been doing the rest as I can already. I've made it through 13 input strips so far, 19 more to go, then 24 on the output side, and the Master and Aux strips. I had a solder-sucker die on me and Amazon totally failed with the next day delivery and I ended up placing another order and getting one after a week...should've spent Jeff's spaceship money on their workers instead.

I've improved my time per channel from about 2 hours early on to under an hour, with the help of some portioning. Through some unforseen circumstances I have more free time on my hands these days so I'm hoping to keep up this pace and get through the whole console in the next few weeks.

I'm in an identical spot recapping my DDA DMR 12 and could use a little help; Do you happen to still have your capacitor lists available for each module, or even your master order list? I can build my own, but anything that helps speed this process up would be nice. And particularly any tips you might want to share. I'm new to this part of studio ownership.

Let me see if I can find it. will get back to you.

@Robnoxious Here's what I found. I increased the values of some caps per Jim Williams' advice. Ordered quantities a bit over and above just in case. I still haven't finished the recap, someday...

Oh, I also just ordered stuff to refresh the PSU. let me know if you're interested in that and I'll dig it up. I might not have put it all in a single order without mixing other stuff in though so it might be a bit of work to sort through.

In regards to the PS; I am using a Midas 2900XL PS, so I'm gonna have to take the time to figure that one myself. Now, in regards to the caps, do you happen to remember which upgrades you did, ie. Stock value vs Jim Williams Rec? Pretty sure mine is stock, so I'll need to know which ones you substituted for stock, if you don't mind? I lived in LA, so Jim Williams is legendary there. ;>]
