I use the Atoms from Mouser as well. I've used newer/smaller capacitors... but the Atoms are my preference. Go to Mouser and look for the Vishay/Sprague "TVA" capacitors, such as 75-TVA1906.
 
ok, I think I go with the series caps.
For the few times the amp gets used....
one more question. is 1/4 watt sufficient for the resistors ?
 
What was that I said earlier about taking the time to study the basics? :razz:

Use Ohm's Law.

The power dissipated in each resistor is:

P = Vsq / R

Where P is power in watts, Vsq is the voltage the resistor (squared) and R is the resistance in Ohms.

Then pick a resistor rated for at least twice that wattage.
