First DIY Project

Hi all today I got a cheap condenser mic at thrift/goodwill/charity shop, local $20 (suspect it was around $50-100 new). Came in a nice metal carry case with dust / pop cover and shock mount.
Brand: YGY
Model: ME-100C
Plug: XLR
Switch 1(looks like EQ): Flat EQ / roll off bass
Switch 2: 0 / -10dB
Switch 3 Polar Patterns: 1. Omnidirectional 2. Cardioid 3. Bi-directional (aka figure 8)
Can't find this mic online but here is the same mic with different branding

I know its a cheap mic to begin with, just something I thought I could mod upgrade to get a bice quality mic without spending a fortune.
Any thoughts?

Looks a lot like the iSK / Devine BM-600 on the outside.

Looks indeed the same as a Devine BM-600. But hard to tell without a picture of the internals.
