For a new design I would fully agree, but it seems like the original poster is probably building from a kit and does not have experience yet for extensive circuit modifications. Everything in steps.
It's not a kit. It's mounting from zero, only pcb's :)

Are you willing to cut into the PCB and modify the circuit? If not, then for the purposes of my response to Merlin you are still building a "kit" in the sense that someone else has designed the circuit, and the PCB, and you cannot easily make the modifications to the output circuit which Merlin suggested.

Keep in mind all the previous discussion about chassis connections assumed an actual electrical chassis connection. That chassis in the pictures looks to be coated with something non-conductive, probably powder coat on top and bottom and anodizing on the side and back panels.
