I have found a source for the SSL style Sifam knobs in the USA if anyone is looking for them. Their US distributor sells them: selcoproducts.com

I ordered 20 knobs and caps through them for $2.50 per knob and $0.55 per cap, plus they threw in a tightening tool for free.

The exact model is S151-025-GRY, with blue caps. They are 6.35mm shaft, which should fit the Lorlin switches and Alpha pots used in the project.

Hope that helps someone.  :D

I've been looking for these!!  I entered the part number on their site and nothing comes up.  Was this something you needed to call them about (i.e. not listed on the site but available nonetheless)?  It would be great if this was a lasting stock item and not just a one-off.  I'll give them a call to see if these are indeed available.  Thanks for posting this.

there was a group buy few days ago
S151 006 in Grey, C151 Cap in Blue

Just researching this before I call them.  Is the part number actually S151-250-GRY?  That is what I'm finding with .250"/6.35MM shaft size in gray.  Thanks again!!

@weiss - Not sure if this group buy is still going, or if the OP can ship to the states.  I'll look into that as well. Thanks!!

i think he bought a lot, yes ;)

Hey guys,

The part number is from the Sifam product catalogue. That is the correct number: S151-025 is for the 0.25" shaft one, which the Lorlin switches and Alpha pots fit. You'll still need to cut the shaft shorter as the collet accepts only 7mm long of shaft (lorlins are like 17mm)

The S151-006 is 6mm, but the Switches and pots are 6.35mm. They might still work though.

I bought 20 of them. I am only building one GSSL as of now, so I might be able to spare a few.

I posted an inquiry on their site and they got back to me in like 2 hours, then I called them on the phone and they hooked me up. Their customer service appears very good so far!

They are based out of Nevada, so shipping is cheap. They will do USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc

Great find! Although I too am having trouble finding the exact part on the site...

...although I DID find poultry lighting

I'm not 100% that you'll find it on the site, but I called them and spoke directly with a sales rep and got them that way. They are scheduled to arrive via FedEx tomorrow, so will report back after I get them checked out!

Hi Statzern,
Did you finally received the knobs from them? If they fit properly lorlin pots, I would like to buy you 6 of them with blue caps if you still have some aside. Let me know ;)

I contacted Selco and here's the response I got via email:

Thank you for your inquiry.  Our part number would be S151-250GRAY and we currently have about 300 in stock.  We are happy to help you, but we have a $50 minimum order amount.  I’ll list pricing below around these quantities.

S151-250GRAY
10-49 pieces      $2.50 each

C151BLUE
10-49 pieces      $0.55 each

I don't need more than 5, so then I find this small page and ordered (paypal invoice) for $3.25USD each from here: https://sites.google.com/site/diypartsstore/catalog/catalog-page-2

I'll let you know if/when they arrive.

Sorry for ad, but perhaps someone will be interested in sifam/elma style collet knobs from my store
