..the LL5402 are pretty well shielded, magnetic crosstalk is not a problem..

I believe Ruud is referring to the two unshielded xfmrs that are on the rear panel, above the toroidal. I guess they are ancillary power xfmrs.

Aah, I see.
Those are neither in- nor output transformers - and are not part of (original) circuit. I have no idea what they could be.
Perhaps a strange version of the high-boost inductor?
