I'm sure I'm not the only Residents fan here.  I was saddened to see the obit today.

Awww, I loved their early stuff.  Still have the Duck Stab 7".  Never got to see them live though. 
Somewhere there is an angel with a giant eyeball for a head...

I saw them live on the 13th Anniversary Tour ('85 or '86 I guess).  A really powerful show on a tiny budget.  Strange and intense.
