I've always wanted to build my own headphones and was curious if anyone here has any experience or tips as I am not sure if the circuit can work.
The components I will use are as follows:
Breadboard
Battery
ceramic capacitor
Resistors
polar capacitor
BC237 NPN transistor (datasheet)
BC239 NPN transistor(BC239 DATASHEET)
MIC
Audio Jack

Here is the circuit.

Not suitable at all for headphone use. There are plenty of DIY headphone amplifier projects around, you should start with one of those.

Headphone amps are like baby power amps.. For modest power there are single chip IC solutions. Another popular variant is using an op amp with some power transistors wrapped around it.

A good beginner project... have you searched "headphone amps" in this forum?

At least as important as output power is output impedance - many phones only sound best within a small range of amp output impedances.
