Heater switch

Hi everybody,

I'd like to be able to use 12ax7s AND russian 6NxP tubes on a pedal I have built some time ago. It's running 12ax7s at 9v presently. Would this solution be correct?




Or would this one be preferable?

The second one should work. The first one will not - you could just use a high warrage series resistor instead.
