Hi, I'm Jamie. I live near Doylestown, PA. I'm a technician for a small government contractor and I have been tinkering with audio stuff for over two decades!
I could have sworn I was a member here 15-20 years ago, but maybe I'm not remembering correctly. I know I was/am on music electronics forum, and Ampage before that, so who knows!?
Anyway, life got busy, I had kids, etc, and now I'm getting back to some old projects. Tonight I fixed a Behringer ADA8000 I bought on eBay for cheap. The caps on the 15v rails and main data line were shot, but you probably could have guessed that. I'm going to have to find a different PT with lower secondary voltages or do something to reduce to heat generated in these regulators. It's pretty bad!
