Hello group. I very much want to learn how to trouble shoot and fix old electronics ,mainly, electric guitar oriented gear. I have a basic knowledge of components and a rough understanding of how schematics are read. What I don’t know is the practical application of trouble shooting the actual hard ware. Things like audio tracing, finding faults, safely powering broken equipment etc. I am hoping that I can learn to do these things as I very much want to contribute to keeping the old stuff alive. Not against new stuff or software, those things just don’t fascinate me like the old analog stuff does. Thank you for allowing me to join the group and I will be lurking!
