Welcome to the group. I worked at Neve in the mid 70s and designed consoles for The Who and The Kinks among others. Seems like your 8048 is of that era. What is its A number?

This is from the early 70s. All discrete. It was made for DECCA in France, and then found new life in Seattle

I joined Neve in 1974 so it may have been before my time. It is unusual in that it does not have an integral patch bay but Decca had their own way of doing things. Love the use of the talk back goose neck mic for hanging patch cords on. It also looks like you have lost a couple of group faders. Lovely machine.
