My name is soap. I make rap music.
I’ve taught myself to record and mix in the box spanning across the last 5-6 years. I was able to make music my job this year which led to being able invest in some hardware to learn more about the history of studio work and ,essentially, I’ve fallen down the rabit hole. This morning I was opening an old stereo and a reel to reel machine that my friend was giving away. This stuff is fascinating and im an idiot for sure but very excited to learn more and ideally build my own circuitry soon, with help from this community’s resources.
