I am a recording and live sound engineer who started using a soldering iron in High School over 40 years ago. Though I would not call myself seasoned, I am not a noob either. During the Covid lockdown, I started building microphones which pulled me back into using that soldering iron as much as I have time for. So, I hope you all pardon some of my basic questions.
