Help putting a Black small UTC square transformer in a round hole. (A10/A24)

Sorry for the base question but is there a template or adapter to put the older black UTC (A10 or A24) into a mounting hole for the later grey badged and silk screen versions?

was thinking of cutting one of those sowter adapters for the La2a kits but wondered if there was a better way or more importantly a minimum clearance.

do these have threaded holes in top of can? can you mount it inside? can you mount outside with short standoffs?

They are threaded in top. Would prefer to mount outside with just an adapter plate. Has those small mounting screws in the bottom.

another option is to mount them sideways inside the case,
this way you can cram it into a 1Urack space. i think...

have to fab a plate, i feel your pain, not much room between the terms and the plate itself.

Hi there! I just happened to see this after I made this very adapter plate yesterday on our cnc machine. I was also going to use the threads on top of my black can a-10, but decided to make a plate. Lmk if I can send you 2 in the mail. Could cut them for you if you want to cover shipping
