Hi y'all. I'm a long time lurker, first time joining. I've been DIYing in various ways for well over 20 years and just now got to the point where I actually became a member of this forum. Shame on me!
I'm an advanced hobbyist now making music, production, recording engineering, mixing and mastering. I love making experimental, electronic and ambient music, but used to mostly play guitar and sing until about 10 years ago. I suspect lots of dudes my age are on a similar trajectory. I love building stuff that is good value and have a few weird project ideas that I'd love to bounce off people here too. I also buy and use old tape machines, weird mics, effects pedals, thrift store synths and test equipment.
