Hi there,

My name is Torben, I'm from Denmark, and I'm quite new to this DIY "thing". I'm starting out with the SSL clone. I can't wait to get it done.

I have a quick question. I'm about to put the Lorlin switches in the PCB, but how do I fit them in correctly? I was told that they only fit in one way, but I can fit the Ratio switch in 4 ways (in all four 90 degrees angles) and the Attack and Release switches in 2 ways (the two 180 degrees angles possible). What do I look for for orientation? I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing and I'll look stupid, but I thought I'd just ask and get on with it...

I've searched the forum to see if anyone else asked the same question some time, but I couldn't find any. Sorry if this turns out to be something that has been discussed previously.

Hi Torben,

It's best to use the "official error-fixing thread for ssl-clone questions:

that way all info is collected in one place.

And you're right - we've had this question many many times. The simple answer is that no matter how you put the switch in, it should work, as they're symmetric. At least the ones that I've seen and used.
