Picked up three of these mics for a total of $100 locally, with shock mounts and cables. The TSM mics were, AFAIK, the white-label brand to some Scandinavian equipment dealer. I'm not entirely sure what the circuit is, maybe similar to the MXL 2001? I think the microphones are 15-20 years old.
Given that I paid next to nothing for them, I'm wondering if there are any relatively affordable mods (as in $50-$100 worth of mods for each microphone)? I have no experience with modding microphones, but I have a lot of experience with modding and building guitar amps, pedals, etc.
