its an api 312'ish mic pre project ,put into an old cd player box....

couldnt find the output transformer yet,so i threw in an oep (also on input). -the funny looking thingy is the melcor 1731..

I like the CD-ROM case. Too bad you can't power it off the +12/+5 power supply and install it in a desktop computer. Now that would be cool!

kev,i didnt do any scope analisis of the clone but comparing to the green pre for example-it sounds kind of "faty"-in a nice way...
i really like the sound of it.
