Level will be the same, connection same,
I have 2 models
1.
1166 VT- will be little darker sounding, with bigger bottom than Carnhill Vtb 9049, smooth and big ,exact copies of my Marinair- Lo1166
2.
1166Vtx will be same sounding with Carnhill vtb9049,same labeling ,same output level, little more distortion,same highs, but with 5- percent bigger bottom

My transformers are matched to older Series Lo1166A..
If you buy a pair, it will be matched in 0,01-0,03 db

And one more thing..If you ask me is this improvement is worth 50 EUR, If you already have Carnhill Vtb 9048, than is not worth...but if you don't have tx and must buy one,than is worth every penny..and remumber, that is not my transformer, my is only apperiance, that is Rupert design Lo1166A and CJ schematics.
