Ron, question on the caps in your layout.
You have two caps that are brown ( .001 and 510 pf), are these indicating a particular type of cap, or did you make them brown cuz you thought they'd look spiffy in brown :wink:
Also, there's a resistor labelled 1k-2.7K. what give here?

The brown caps represent silver micas.
R7 can be anywhere between 1k and 2.7k.
R7 can be anywhere between 1k and 2.7k.
