Building out, besides the Langevin 116 there's the Altec 428B which uses a similar tertiary arrangement, and both of those use a dual coil tertiary that can be series/parallel for a gain difference. The 428B is a PP output stage, but the tertiary arrangement is the same, back to the cathode of a SE front end.
