Looking for 1.5Hy EQ/Audio Inductor

[Analogique]

I'm looking for an audio quality 1.5Hy coil with preferably 200-ohms DCr or less.

Operating requirements : 0mA DC, 5mA signal max.

Can someone point me to a quality source ?

1.5H doesn't appear to be a standard part in their range, but I'm sure they can make one if you're willing to spend the money. Or you could use 1H and 0.5H in series and still meet your DCR spec. They send free samples if you ask nicely :wink:

Does it have to be exactly 1.5H? - Cinemag do a 1.2H potcore - CM-2312

I only know this 'cos i have been looking for a similar-sized inductor for a passive API553 type eq. I have no idea if these are of any use to you, maybe someone else can butt in?

Great suggestions and links ...

This coil would be going into a single-ended tank Eq. circuit like in the Ampeg V9 preamp - I want peaks and notches ranging from 150Hz to 800Hz using a single inductor and various caps. I guess it doesn't have to be 1.5Hy on the nose. The opamplabs 1.6Hy looks like a pretty good candidate !
