Hello,
If you can't tell from my username, I'm a professional sound recordist in the film industry.
Joining up because I frequently deal with broken equipment, and would like to repair more of it myself. I've been soldering cables for years; more recently I've done a lot of lavaliere reterminations. Simple stuff.
My occasion for joining is I'm coming back to a Sennheiser 416T that has been broken for years. Sennheiser refuses to repair it, and I refuse to get rid of it, so I'm making yet another attempt to fix it. At the moment, I just signed up so I could download the repair manual & schematic, but I'll post if I get stuck or have something to show...
