Hi,
I was trying to re-ribbon a Coles 4038 with broken ribbon and since I wasn't awarded to the spacer nuts at the back to the top socket shoulder screws, I broke the two screws

Does anyone knows where I can find the same type of screws?

There's any significant advantage to the socket shoulder screws over a regular screws for this application?
(On top of the picture is the old broken screw, at the bottom a regular screw).

With socket head screws your driver is much less likely to slip off. Slipping off the screwdriver onto your newly installed ribbon would probably make you curse and throw things.

Are you sure they are M2 ? The original design of these mics date back to when only imperial screws were used in the U.K. Therefore unless Coles changed them they may not be M2. I don't know myself, but maybe a good idea to find out before you wind an M2 into a B.A thread.
I replaced the broken one with a M2 screw and it seems to perfectly fits in.
