A company is promoting far UVc portals that people would disinfect people clothes and outer body before entering a clean space.
I have heard estimates from 10 seconds to 20+...
AFAIK this is still experimental technology and not approved for use on humans. Columbia University has 100 hairless mice in a lab that have been living under far UVc light for a year already with no apparent problems.
I remain optimistic about this technology but its not ready for prime time yet... Last time I researched this, there was a LED technology that made 210nm wavelength light, but still unobtanium.
