My G-SSL front pannel design (pfd included)

Hello,

Just wanted to share my design files for the SSL quad comp clone.
The two files are made with "frontpannel designer" for schaeffer milling process.





the holes for the 'power' & 'bypass' buttons are made for the unbreakable Nikkai UB2 switches (15*15mm holes)

and the bargraph hole is made for RS component ref:259-561 (100uA) galvanometer.

check the position of the holes on the left and right of the pannel to fit with your rack holes.
This is just a sample!
You can adjust everything, from the holes position and size to the brand on the left side...
I suggest not to keep the SSL thing and prefere using your own label so that you can show off to your friends ;-)

I have not yet make mine. I will buy the UB2 switches and see if it will sit correctly in this dedicated position. And I'm currently working on my own brand label to engrave on the left.

I have to do a front panel with this software, but i don't know how to position the different step of a rotary switch with the right angles?
i'd like to do like your threshold.

to make a perfect circle scale with dots and numbers you can go to this link and try to get what you want, it's called "MCS Scale-o-matic":

you export the file in hpgl and import it to your frontpanneldesigner software.
