Our new microphone brand "TACHYONENMANN" is well received in the market.

Joking aside. As you can see I am currently working on text to image AI systems.

I am shocked at the possibilities, the quality, the flexibility, the creativity. After 2 hours of experimenting (the pictures here are not even 10% of the total result) I had to go to bed.

I'm a professional, I've run several visuell agencies and 3D/game studios, I'd say this would change everything if it wasn't for Chat GPT, which will have even more impact.

The combination of this is also unimaginably interesting. I've been checking all the hot AI tools for a week now.

Ian, as an assist system for creative designing front panels, midjouney is more than adequate. Try it out.

PS: my visual skills and my 3D experience were not necessary for these results and did not play any role. Anyone can do it, just type it in and see what comes out. You can optimize the result with a few prompt commands. But everything is purely on the text level, for everyone immediately accessible!

Edit: no photoshop, no post processing. Everything directly from midjouney!

Small addition: ChatGPT speaks (i.e. invents according to text input) Gcode. Think about it. Probably now already or in two weeks the thing can also produce the other relevant production file formats.

I briefly visited the web site which was one of the weirdest I have come across. However, given your recommendation I will give I a go. I am refurbishing a tube tone box I built some years ago which involves a new front panel. Maybe some psychedelic images would help?

That's right, it's ~~a bit~~ unfamiliar and strange at first.

Basically, you sign up for a trial account (that's limited by the number of images). This trial account is combined with a Discord(!) channel in which you can then make your first attempts in so-called newbie rooms. A bit confusing, no question. Once you've done that, the party starts. From here it gets really extremely inspiring, the system floods you with creativity, the perfect source of ideas and a fascinating sparing partner to try things out.

In principle, it is a personal concept artist who can visualize ideas of any subject and style. Truly amazing...your imagination is the limit here. Don't mention the word psychedelic, this thing is freaking out...

It's best to watch a YouTube video on how to set up midjourney. Then it's relatively easy.

Edit:

Another warning, perhaps. The free number of pictures was used up relatively quickly. Then it becomes chargeable, there are two payment models between 10-30$ per month. Honestly, if you need this for professional purposes, a real bargain. Then you can also work with the system in a personal room, then it dances exclusively for you alone.

It also reminds me of something I'm still looking for. The Axis: bold as love cover has some stylistic similarities, ******* Brew also a bit. Maybe also Destinys Child, The Supremes, Queen?? I am still searching...

The AI is certainly partly influenced directly by learning templates, but aren't we all products of our environment?

On the other hand, if you follow midjouney's output on these Discord channels for a while, you realize that this AI easily outperforms any office full of concept artists in terms of stylistic versatility.

That's really incredible, as is the rendering speed! I've never seen such elaborate compositions at such a fast render speed. The render time (plus process time for whatever else needs to be done) is under a minute per image. They must have very fast computers!
