Hello! I hope someone can help me calculate/specify resistors to replace those in the Neumann OEV EQ for half gain increments? Or better yet 1/2/3/4/5db or thereabouts?

for example, in the schematic (attached) I see that the first band (S3) has the resistor values listed, and a sum of all resistors either side of the 0 gain point are 60.2k (including R3).

I am going nuts trying to figure out the values, the theory of simply halving the values and then doubling R3 doesn't work out as I naively hoped..!

I would be satisfied with only changing the values of the high shelf and mid band gains, and leave the low shelf as is.

Help please!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

..replace with a pot, set to wanted steps, measure pot positions..?

exact total value probably not all that important, if you don't need the maximum available range anyways..
