Speaking of neve for live use, since the time of the original post, I know of one band that used a Rupert Neve Designs 5088 for live. Technically it counts but it is not old skool Neve which was what was asked.
If my memory serves, Green Day had a 5088 32 channel on tour. If it wasn’t Green Day, it was a band of that stature in modern music.
