Hi there. I'm new here (and to DIY). This looks like the place to be.

Anyway, this looks great!
Any estimate so far on total project cost? Are there any boards left?

Thanks.

and a stereo la-2a version board
(if i can just figure out finding a single xformer to power them)
Yes please make the stereo version first...:):)

I actually bumped into a page the other day where a guy was saying that people might consider a solid state power supply that was selling somewhere, but I cant find the page again..

good luck!

thanks for the support!
here is a basic diagram of hooking up wires and stuff.

xformers or the tube heater hook up.

but i will do a super detailed and better lay out by this week end.

this just shows an example of what is involved.

I don;t want to be a pain... but still waiting for shipping costs to the UK...

please - imagine me as tiny tim..

I've just ordered a board

How about a T4b module for this ?
Has anybody sucessfully cloned one ? From what I've read there's a problem finding the right photoresistors....

or have I missed something ?

I'll put an ad in and hope for the best :?

For the moment the shipping is hard to estimate overseas; so each of you from different countries go ahead and pay $12.00 shipping for one or two units; $15.00 for 3 (bear in mind that 3 changes the customs requirements so it's better to purchase two unit maximum). To avoid confusion this includes Canada Sweden UK and Australia., Germany, etc, etc. One item $12.00 shipping; two items $12.00 shipping - same envelope. If the shipping is much more and I can't easily absorb it, I'll let you know and you can make an additional small payment through paypal. They're going fast so place your order soon. When I order additional ones, there will be about a two week wait.
all those grounds are going to the same spot, correct?
the la-2a has 4 different induvidual grounds.
in 4 different locations.

ha100x gnd (input xfrmer)
power xformer gnd
t4b star gnd
and stereo adj pin3 gnd

also a seprate gnd for input xlr pin 1

i kept the design on the pcb the same so i wouldnt run into
gnd problems
i use solder tags screwed to case for each gnd.

49$ sent to you via PayPal for one board to UK. Many thanks indded! PayPal only allows me to send an "eCheque" for some reason, not straight away. So I guess it will probably take a few days to clear, or something . . . :?

Sorry about that!
