I heard a segment today on the local radio show that made me think of 'moral equivalence' ,
A new same sex parental rights bill is being passed here , the radio show was attempting to shed light on some of the issues faced by people in this situation , anyway over the course of the show some texts and comments highlighted the fact that many 'straight' fathers already experience signifigant inequalities just getting to spend time with their children , especially if they cant provide financially for what ever reason . Right away the LGBT+ crowd started to savage the show host for even daring to mention straight fathers rights in the same breath as same sex couples , for me the whole thing highlights the 'have their cake and eat it ' approach , it feels like a rights movement wants to graduate in to supremacy movement ,
What does your inner moral equivalence compass say to you about it all ?
