NYC EDAC Series 516 Tool

Hi,

I'm wiring patch bays for my studio and I don't have the extra bread for this tool right now. Does anyone in NYC feel friendly enough to loan me theirs? This stuff is too overpriced.. my hands are blistering from using the wrong tools.

are you talking the crimp tool or extraction tool?

I have had the same blue plastic extraction tool for ages.  it was never an issue. Then I was upgraded into a new one that broke quickly and I am back to my blue plastic one.

I recently had pretty good luck removing pins from DL connectors using a paper clip

Yeah the dl remover tool is expensive and easy to break.
