Obsolete Transistor Replacement Suggestions

I'm building the mic from this DIY Perks video.



I don't have much experience with diy electronics. The transistor used in this project is obsolete. I need help finding a replacement. Below is a link to the transistor on Digikey. Thanks for your time and help.

Basically every low noise jfet will do the Job in this case.

That project has a major flaw. Make sure you add a 1G resistor from fet gate to ground!

I'm not sure what's the result of that flaw would be. Would this resistor correct for it?

just a common metall film resistor is fine here.
