Does anyone else have issues with the link above? It takes me to aliexpress.ru which has totally screwed up my aliexpress links and buying experience.

I am always forced to go to the .ru site and it is a complete cock-up. I have deleted cookies and history many times, but still I get sent to the .ru site but the only way to fix this is to delete my account and re-subscribe.

But when I hit the link to a .ru site, I get caught up in this ridiculous situation again and automatically have to browse the .ru site. What is going on with aliexpress? Crazy

If anyone knows how to fix this please post.

Link does not take me to .ru domain. It takes me to my usual .us domain.

Try to access the link from another device (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) or through another wifi router and/or from a new account.
It is also useful to clear the history, cache, etc. in the browser, and to use an effective, updated antivirus.
As a last resort ask a friend in the nearby area to access the link. To use another digital ID. If none of the alternatives work, then the problem may be related to the geographical position.
In this situation, I would be very careful with using a bank account to order online products from sites that raise security suspicions.

They also have an app they try to direct you to, and somethings are easier in the Ali App. Privacy issues aside.

Once my arienne k87 arrives I'll post a sound sample comparison between it (in 87 style body), a baifeili 87 (87 style body), and a flat k47 (in u47 style body) all using the ors87 circuit. So far I've really enjoyed both the flat 47 and BFL87, but greatly prefer the flat 47

But why would you want to apply the U87 frequency correction curve, to a K47 capsule (and a flat one, at that)?

@untamedfrontier, wiIl you optimize low-end cut-off capacitor C12 and high-end roll-off capacitor C13 for each capsule individually? The flat K47 may not even need C13. If you don't optimize the frequency response, you're not doing the capsules justice, IMHO.

I am convinced that @untamedfrontier will optimize the degree of de-emphasis or cancel deemphasis, in the ORS87 circuit, depending on the specifics of each capsule used. Even if the headbasket is not identical for all microphones, I'm still curiously waiting for the shootout.

For the flat 47, there have been some alterations to part values to get closer to a 847, but eventually I will probably swap out the circuit for something else.

It was mostly built this way out of convenience, since I had leftover ors87 boards, but I like the way it sounds so it may remain as is until I change my mind.

I have 2 other 87s built with similar cap values and I don't hear any difference between them even though one uses a more modern BOM and a j113. I'll likely just pop the Ari k87 into one of those.

Hi guys I just want to document here this mic shell body that I got from Alibaba I was so lucky to get this so cheap it cost me like 9 bucks plus shipping at the moment they don't have discount on shipping yet, anyway for diy circuits is really nice metal feels sturdy enough the head basket is good I didn't know that it will comes with the XLR connector at the bottom and also the 34 mm capsule saddle mount and screws too this are M2.5 type screws? oh the decorative ring is metal not plastic I'm gonna leave a video here and I apologize for my terrible English that is my second language I'm reshaping the layout outline of the PCB ones again to fit into this mic body have a good day guys

yes you right I just realize that it only needs one insulator type is just in case the other part# is not in stock in Mouser just in case, the extra one is not really need it and the squares I will remove them I forgot to do it
