I had yet to do an all at once comparison and found this to be quite interesting. Video features BaiFeiLi 34mm capsule, Arienne K87, and Flat47, with Warm Audio WA-87 R2 as an additional flavor to compare against.

Whered the bottom end go on that WA mic? lol Nice comparison!

the parts from Mouse they gonna arrive today I'm so excited 😁 yes there is a little problem I didn't notice that the pads will touch the frame so I just order insulators is fine, I already fix the custom layout for the future 😊

I listened to that. The only mic that stood out was the Warm Audio. The other three basically sounded the same to my ears. The Warm Audio has much less bottom end. But to my purely subjective perception it sounds way better. Quite to my surprise because I always thought that company was selling an image more than quality.

Really nice comparison! BaiFeiLi and Arienne's K87 sounded the same to me and quite natural and full. Flat47 was a bit dark. Curious how would it sound in another, non-U47 style body. WA was terrible. Sounds almost like a cheap transistor radio. Or like a flatscreen TV without a soundbar or decent HiFi set connected. Crap.
 
hi guys this is how some of the part look on the PCB the insulator 534-11154 Mouser fits really well and the 1G ohms fits well and the tiny transformer is okay 😊

Hello! My parts arrived today, and of course I couldn't resist assembling the microphone. Everything worked the first time, I was surprised. Some parts for some reason turned out to be very large, and I had to be cunning to place them in the case so that the lid would close. But I'm still happy that everything worked out, the sound is unusual after the MicParts S87, but at the same time it is flexible, fits well into the mix (I do radio production). Once again, many thanks to the community and the forum for this wonderful opportunity to assemble a replica of the legendary 87!!! Perhaps later I will prepare mixes with a comparison of microphones. In my park there is Goodfly U47, MicParts S87, AKG c3000, and now ORS 87.

that is amazing Korablew the electrolytic caps are are 2.54 mm PD pitch distance and 63V DC would be fine I think I see the transformer fist really well 😄 I had to order again parts because the trim pot has the wrong foot print should be this one is my mistake, so how is the sound? and I update the PCB but I'm not gonna order till I build this one good day Korablew happy to see your post man 😊

Well, you're unlikely to need 160V or 250V capacitors in a phantom-powered mic, but what do I know? 🤷🏻
Well, I ordered parts according to this table. I have very little experience in choosing. But it's okay, if I want to assemble a second microphone, I'll know what to pay attention to. )))

oh ok I see when ordering parts go here and check data of the larger parts in Mouser or Digikey but anyway is a good thing you put it together look so nice even with those grandes big caps 😂 awesome man
