FWIW, I've found that in stereo applications, the Alpha switches have serious issues with stray capacitance. Crosstalk performance wasn't good at all. I've bypassed the Alpha in the preamp I have here for this reason. This is also considering that the Alpha's connection tags aren't next to each other either...

YMMV.
