Hi all, first time poster here.
The project I'd like to do is create two stereo busses from a Yamaha PM1000 via a API 325 card. I addition I would also like to have a tap of the 325 card feed a control room monitor (CRM) pot. As wired no with out the CRM pot everything works fine and the 325 card produces around 10 db of gain with the 10k fader maxed out. My problem occurs when I connect the second tap of the 325 to the CRM pot. Two things occur that sort of baffle me. #1 the control room monitor will not completely cut the signal even though when measured it is .2 ohms and #2 at a certain point when adjusting the CRM pot it affects the stereo buss signal. Any advice greatly appreciated, and is what I am doing possible.
