If you are into electronic music, more precisely into acid house / drum n bass / jungle / french touch with a humor twist here's a cool young band from France,

Clafoutis is a french pastry desert from South of France, kind of old fashioned

I have mixed this record with a collection of DIY hardware, and a crappy Alesis 3630 on the 2bus, going for that somewhat distorted pumping sound from the mid/late 90s, and lots of bitcrushing here and there

Cheers

It’s a cover tune but it does a really good job. I normally avoid any Beatles or Led Zeppelin covers as they usually do not compare with the original. This is as they say across the pond, bloody good.

neat thread!

this is a non-offensive and easy to enjoy record that I mixed this year. posting because it has a "something for everyone" kinda vibe. recommended if you like early steely dan, doobie brothers, other 1970s classic music, etc.

If there ever was an album that would introduce someone to mariachi music. It would be this one.
Linda really does the music of her heritage justice. She sings so good. Plus the musicians on the album really know it well.
