I edited my post with a photo of the coupler I'm speaking of to make it clear. No eccentricity problems as long as the coupler is long enough and cut accurately on each side. If there's any slop in the channel on either side it makes it a PITA to align the shafts perfectly.Do you not get problems with eccentricity? The centre knob jamming against the outer knob?
Disco Volante's lathe for the win !I could probably help you out if it can be solved with a lathe. It sounds like you have a 6mm pot shaft that needs to be 3mm on a part of the shaft?
I could also make you an adapter, but I guess it depends on the application whether there is room for it...
