PREDI’CT Build Thread (frozen)

anybody here using a power transformer with a 6.3v secondary as opposed to the 9v the BOM calls for? seen a few people go that way in another thread here as they seem more common. just wanna make sure I'm sourcing one that'll work well, not just one that'll work within budget.

I just finished building a reddi from the schematic with this transformer and it works beautifully. No hum, noise or issues. Just try to keep the transformers as far apart as possible, but mine are just separated by the power supply board, maybe 6 inches and I have no interference at all.
