Quality wire suppliers?

I've been going over Mnats 1176 builders guide, and as a result I realise the wire I can source at my local electronics store is of marginal quality.  It may be time to buy online.

I don't really trust vendor's descriptions and would rather source my wire based on the working knowledge/experience of others - where can I find premium quality pre-tinned wire and shielded cable fit for pro-audio applications?
